Kristen Koh Goldstein is the CEO and Chairwoman of HireAthena, an all-in-one Accounting and HR solution for SMBs around the globe powered by a distributed workforce of stay-at-home parents. Formed in 2010, HireAthena became one of Inc. Magazine’s fastest growing companies in America. Faced with the same scaling wall so many great services companies encounter, Kristen forged a solution and in 2013, with institutional backing from several investors including Sherpa Ventures, eVentures, Google Ventures, and HVF Labs, built Scalus; the preferred SaaS workflow management and collaboration tool of the Accounting profession.Together, Kristen’s companies are changing the face of tech and SMB operations.
Prior to HireAthena and Scalus, Kristen was an investment analyst for Goldman Sachs and Credit Suisse covering the software industry. She was also the CFO of Loyalty Lab (now Tibco) and Director Finance of Epinions (now eBay), where she developed a deep expertise in financial operations. A graduate of Harvard Business School and mother of three, Kristen is passionate about empowering women in business and life.
